Black & White Film Developing Trial
LEEFILM is currently running a limited trial program for black & white film developing and DSLR scanning.
The purpose of this trial is to further refine the workflow, improve consistency, and collect real-world feedback from film photographers.
During this period, development and scanning are provided free of charge.
Included
- Hand-developed 135 black & white film
- High-resolution DSLR scanning
- JPEG delivery
- TIFF available upon request
- Negatives returned
Current Workflow
Each roll is processed individually with attention to consistency and image quality.
The workflow includes:
- Controlled development process
- Fresh chemistry management
- Careful negative inspection
- High-resolution DSLR scanning
- Individual tonal adjustment
- Dust inspection before delivery
No AI enhancement is applied.
The objective is to preserve the original character of the negative.
Trial Conditions
This trial is offered for a limited period.
In return, I kindly ask participants to provide honest feedback regarding:
- Development quality
- Scan quality
- Tonality
- Overall experience

- 135 black & white film
- 135 color film (C-41 or ECN-2 process)
- 120 format film
- 4x5 sheet film
Not available yet:
- E-6 process
